She was born with a mop of black hair, gorgeous big blue eyes, already very beautiful. Considering how lively Lauren became, she was incredibly slow at learning to walk, she was about 14 months before she took her step, from then on there was no stopping her. Dancing followed very shortly after. Lauren would much sooner dance her way around her daily routine, than walk. Lauren joined all of the drama groups within her school, entered all of the talent shows that she could, very often winning!!. At the age of 8 she joined the Theatre Royal School of Performing Arts, Lauren enjoyed every minute of her time there, was often given lead roles and would elbow her way to the front at every opportunity. She was always very popular at school, both primary and secondary, always had a fantastic group of mates, who still miss Lauren so much. Laurens life was taken from us so tragically on the 7th June 2003, in a senseless car crash. The driver of the car was Heather Thompson, she was the mother of the other passenger, Abbey, she was also killed. If only the driver had been more careful, driven with care and treated her precious passengers with the utmost care and protection we would not be doing this web page in the first place, Lauren would be here at home doing exactly what any 13yr old girl should be doing.
